Farmers’ Electric Cooperative completed the installation of a 9.75 kW/DC, ground-mount solar array located behind the business office in Chillicothe in August 2018.  The demonstration project positions the Cooperative as a direct source of information about this developing form of renewable energy for both our employees and our Members.

High Line Safety Program

Farmers’ Electric Cooperative offers an electrical safety program for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

The Partners in Education program is designed to create a close, working relationship between a community organization/business and an area school.  The purpose of this program is to enrich and expand the educational opportunities of area students while fostering a deeper understanding of the school system within the community.
