What is Annual Meeting?
Annual Meeting is the meeting of Farmers’ Electric Members/Owners, in order to present information about the Cooperative. It is also a time to elect directors to its board, the election of Committee on Nominations, and conduct the business of the Cooperative.
When and Where is Annual Meeting?
This year’s meeting was held as a drive-in-style meeting at the old Chillicothe hospital grounds (100 Central St.) on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
Why should I go?
Your voice and vote matter!
Annual Meeting is one of the many great ways Members can stay up to date on what is going on at Farmers' Electric and make their vote count.
Not only do Members vote on important issues, but all registered Members received a bucket with a gift, a $15 BILL CREDIT, and a prize drawing entry for even more bill credits that were awarded the next day on Facebook Live!
Drive-In Style
With the meeting being drive-in-style, getting out of the vehicle was not necessary. Members registered, voted, and collected their registration gifts without exiting their vehicles.
Once Members have registered and voted, they could exit! However, since this year’s meeting was not broadcasted on KCHI radio, our Members were welcome to get out of their vehicle, stay, and listen to the business meeting under the tent at this location.
How will I know if I won a prize?
Members did not need to stay for the business meeting in order to win a prize. Watch our Facebook LIVE where we announced winners of the additional bill credit prizes!
We also notified these winners with a phone call, and their names will be published in the November Rural Missouri magazine.
*All bill credits will be deducted from the Member's next monthly bill.
