A telephone line for payments is available 24-hours a day. Simply call 800-927-5334 and use a debit/credit card or e-check to make the payment. If you call the business office, a Member Account Representative will forward you to the automated payment system.
Before starting, make sure your electric account is up-to-date with an accurate cell phone number as well as a card or e-check saved to your account. Text JOIN to 352667 then START to opt-in. To pay your bill, you can text PAY to 352667. Check your balance by texting BAL to 352667.
Bank Drafting and Auto-Pay pays a bill automatically on the same day each month. For easy setup, call the office at 660-646-4281 or set up through your online account.
A One-Time Payment pays a bill automatically only once and can be set up through your online account.
Stop in and see us at 201 W. Business 36 in Chillicothe, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cash, credit card, check, and mobile wallet payments are accepted at the front desk during business hours.
Also available on site is a drive-up dropbox located on the southwest corner of our office building where payments may be dropped off 24/7.

Farmers' Electric Cooperative accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards.
Electric bills can be sent via email instead of traditional mail. By switching to paperless billing, Members receive a 50¢ monthly bill credit.
Residential Members may choose a method of level payment based on the average energy use at the residence during the previous 12 months. Call Farmers' Electric Cooperative at 660-646-4281.
With prepaid metering, Members prepay for any electricity they use. This payment option allows Members to choose their own payment schedule, purchase electricity when it is convenient and monitor daily use. When choosing this option, the Member also avoids paying a security deposit. Notification will be made via phone call, text, or email when the account drops to a specific monetary level, chosen by the Member.
