JUNE 2, 2021
In Livingston County, where our business office is located, two highly contagious COVID-19 variants are currently impacting residents. In an effort to do our part to slow down the spread of COVID-19, we have chosen to take precautionary measures for the safety and health of our Members, employees and the public. Farmers’ Electric will be closing its lobby to the public on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 2:00 pm, until further notice.
Members may use our drop box located at the Chillicothe business office, go online or use our free smartphone app, give us a call or use the U.S. Postal Service to pay bills.
All of our employees are considered “Essential Critical Care Infrastructure Workers” as we all work together to ensure the continuation of functions critical to public health and safety. Our focus is to keep our employees safe and healthy to ensure that we continue to provide you with reliable electric service.
The SAFETY of our employees, Members and the public remains our primary focus; therefore, if you see a Farmers’ Electric lineworker or field employee, we ask that you respect our practice of social distancing and do not approach them. Not only is social distancing a great method being used during this pandemic period, it is also important to follow this practice while our lineworkers and field employees are at work. Distractions become a safety concern for the health and well-being of our employees.
Please remember the preventative measures designed to help slow the spread of COVID-19: wear a mask in public, washing hands frequently and staying home when you don’t feel well.
All the best to everyone!
