November 16, 2020
Dear Members,
With the recent spike of COVID-19 in our area, we have chosen to take precautionary measures for the safety and health of our Members and employees. Farmers’ Electric will be closing its lobby to the public on Monday, November 16, 2020, until further notice.
We are encouraging Members to use our drop box, online payment options, and the U.S. Postal Service to pay bills.
Many of our office employees are working from home. If you call, the phones will be answered as always.
All of our employees are considered “Essential Critical Care Infrastructure Workers” as we all work together to ensure the continuation of functions critical to public health and safety. Our focus is to keep our employees safe and healthy to ensure that we continue to provide you with reliable electric service.
The SAFETY of our employees, Members and the public remains our primary focus; therefore, if you see a Farmers’ Electric lineworker or field employee, we ask that you respect our practice of social distancing and do not approach them. Not only is social distancing a great method being used during this pandemic period, it is also important to follow this practice always while our lineworkers and field employees are at work. Distractions become a safety concern for the health and well-being of our employees.
All the best to everyone. Stay healthy and we will get through this together the cooperative way!
Sincerely,
Rod Cotton, CPA
